Trevor Noah to Take Anchor Position on 'The Daily Show'

http://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/tv/why-comedy-central-thought-trevor-noah-would-be-perfect-for-the-daily-show/2015/03/30/780799fc-d71d-11e4-8103-fa84725dbf9d_story.html

This article covers the selection of a new anchor for 'The Daily Show'. The current anchor, John Stewart, stated that he is stepping down. The search for the replacement is on. Trevor Noah, an unexpected replacement, was selected for the job. The article entails the selection process as well as a back story on Trevor Noah. Statements from officials who were on the selection board are included as well.
I think that Noah fits the bill for a new anchor perfectly. As a lover of both 'The Daily Show' and stand-up comedy, it is a pleasant thought to know he is seasoned in both. I really enjoy the show and the episodes he has been featured in. Noah has demonstrated that he is downright funny and not afraid to "go there" with his jokes. Trevor knows how to set the tone for a joke so I think his presence on the show in such an influential way will be positive. Noah is an intelligent comedian that I always look forward to seeing on the show so I think it is great news that he will be seen every episode.

Regarding Myself

There is truly nothing more terrifying than putting one's thoughts and opinions into the heartless abyss that is the internet. Here goes nothing. My name is Will but I will answer to most anything if I happen to be paying attention. I'm from Omaha, Nebraska and corn is okay I suppose. I revel in traveling, writing, reading, and eating. My favorite food is the take-out chinese meals where you can't even tell what you are devouring. I have 3 siblings and 2 parents that I'm obliged to love, not that I rely on that obligation the majority of the time. I have one pet. I named him Jackson because he is from Mississippi and Uptown Funk was in my head at the time. I run track and cross country despite my displeasure for running (please enjoy the picture below of someone imitating my attempt at hurdles). I value honesty in people, but I am occasionally too honest for my own good.  You can find me at Creighton Prep or in my basement where I am most likely on the wrong side of the internet. All I can say is Youtube makes weird suggestions. Not to insinuate something inappropriate, but have you really lived if you haven't watched Poodle Exercise With Humans at three in the morning. You will probably pick up on some haphazard things about me in my posts so if my peculiarities amuse you, stay tuned.
